

Steve Moses





Steve Moses is a nationally-recognized weapons and tactics instructor with over 20 years of teaching experience. He has conducted law enforcement and civil sector classes in 6 states. Steve has studied under some of the very best defensive weapons and tactics instructors in the US, and has completed more than 90 private sector and law-enforcement weapons classes.
Steve is a Texas DPS licensed Level 4 Personal Protection Officer Instructor, who has worked close protection details since 2001 covering high-profile principals, including former Mexican President Vincente Fox and former Columbian President Alvaro Uribe. He was shift Lead on a mega-church security for over 7 years.
Steve's certifications include Defensive Firearms Instructor, Red Zone Empty Hand Defense and Adaptive Striking Foundation Instructor through Red Zone Threat Management, Relson Gracie Jiu Jitsu (purple belt) Instructor, and Rangemaster Firearms Training Services Handgun Instructor. He has studied Pekiti-Tirsia (Filipino knife fighting) under Charlie Porter and has taken defensive edged weapons classes from Andy Sanford, John Hoschen, and Leslie Buck, Jr.
Steve is a Texas reserve deputy constable (sergeant) and for 10 years was a member of the Special Response Team (SRT). He has an IDPA Expert rating and is Match Director for the monthly Defensive Skills Match at Big Rock Gun Club. Steve provides Jiu Jitsu training at Lone Star MMA in Tyler.
Steve is the co-owner and Director of Training for Palisade Training Group.
