This range and training facility has to be one of the BEST places in Wood County/Smith County/Upshur County to learn to shoot safely and accurately. Classes are taught to beginners, experienced law enforcement and security professionals, and all skill levels in between! The staff is friendly, NOT intimidating, and highly experienced. If your family member or significant other wants one-on-one lessons to help them choose a gun, shoot and store the gun safely, THIS IS THE PLACE. And ladies: this range has excellent female instructors who can help and train you and address any concerns you may have. License-to-Carry (concealed handgun certification classes) are held monthly. I highly recommend the purchase of an annual membership to the range, which is a money-saver, because once you see how nice this facility is, with its friendly staff, you will want to return throughout the year! -Presidiogary

Armed Texans is the finest gun store and range around! The newly updated range to the unbeatable prices on their large selection in the gun store. What's not to love! They're even know to host a raffle or two on weekends. Of which, I was blessed to be a blessed recipient recently. You can also find a food truck out front with amazing food occasionally. Thank you to the gentlemen at the Armed Texan. We discovered this place through Harvest Hosts. We received a warm greeting and a tour of their fabulous facility upon our arrival.
