Course satisfies the field skills testing and training for the Texas Hunters Safety Certificate.. Ages 9 and up can attend (parents may stay or drop off). Each student will need to bring their own snacks and drinks and dress for the outdoors.

Covers the mandatory requirements for TPWD Hunters Education Certification – Hunter’s Safety, Outdoor Responsibility, Ethics, Laws & Regulations, Wildlife Conservation, Management, Hunting Traditions, Field Care of Game, Wilderness First Aid, Basic Survival, Firearms Handling, Operation and Basic Marksmanship.
